Rotate the crankshaft according to the normal rotation of the engine to the counter clockwise until the scale alignment on the timing indicator and the pulley. The lid of the valve mechanism is disassembled to check whether the 1 cylinder valve is closed. If all is closed, this position is the 1 cylinder compression stop point.

Valve clearance adjustment: before checking or adjusting the valve, a soft hammer is used to gently tap the valve rocker to ensure that the stick of the valve tappet is tightly attached to the base circle of the camshaft.

The adjustment of the buffer can control the throttle effect of the oil flowing into and out of the buffer cylinder. The speed of the oil flow in the buffer cylinder will lead to the hunting. The slow speed of the governor will be slow when the oil flow in the buffer cylinder is too slow.
Adjust the screw 1 clockwise to the end, then, reverse clockwise adjustment screw 1 out of the 2 ring, the accurate adjustment point is to adjust the performance of the governor to the position of screw 1.
Caution: do not close the needle valve 1 completely. This will cause the governor not to add fuel to the engine or to cause the engine to lose speed if the fuel is not loaded.
