Analysis Of Excavator Engine Speed Drop

Failure phenomenon:

The engine speed phenomenon occurs in the excavator operation. If the speed is severe, it may cause the excavator to stall. (Generally, the excavator has a speed of 200 rpm or more, and it can be regarded as an excavator engine speed failure) The cause of the excavator engine speed failure :


   1 Diesel oil circuit problem. (Generally, the diesel oil circuit is blocked)


   2 Engine failure. (The speed is too low)


  3 The clearance of the solenoid valve is too large, and the oil supply is insufficient, causing the excavator engine to slow down and stall.


   4 The engine load is too heavy.


   5 Hydraulic system failure.


   6 Low fuel pressure and poor fuel quality.


   7 The valve clearance is wrong.


   8 The engine cylinder setting value of one engine is wrong.


   9 The air intake system leaks.


   10 The brake and rotation are abnormal.


  11 The timing of fuel injection is wrong, and the set value of fuel quantity is not correct.


  12 The brake and control lever are defective and the turbocharger has carbon deposits.


  13 Hydraulic failure.


   Excavator engine speed failure repair:


  1When the phenomenon of the engine speed-down of the excavator occurs, first, the excavator master checks whether the diesel used by the excavator has deteriorated? Add more? Or is there any impurities? Is the oil circuit blocked?


  2 Secondly, see if the excavator is an EFI engine or a direct injection engine. The direct injection engine is the first step to check.


  3 After checking the diesel circuit, check the valve clearance of the engine, check the engine speed?


   4 Then check whether the phenomenon that the excavator engine is slowing down occurs under the condition of engine load?


   5 Finally, check the engine to see if it is the excavator engine stall caused by the engine failure.


   Supplement:


The speed of the excavator engine is generally irrelevant to the operating environment temperature of the excavator. Because the oil cooling device of the excavator, the air supercharger, and the turbocharger, even if the excavator is operating at a high altitude Rarely does the phenomenon of excavator engine spin down.


   In addition, under normal circumstances, the main reason for the failure of the excavator engine speed is still the change of the load. When the hydraulic system fails, the displacement cannot be changed, which is easy to cause speed loss or hold back.
