Clean the outer filter element of the air filter-replace the outer and inner filter elements of the air filter every 100 hours or when clogged-after every 3 cleanings or after two months
1. Park the machine on flat ground.
2. Lower the bucket to the ground.
3. Turn off the automatic idling switch.
4. Run the engine with no load at low idling speed for 5 minutes.
5. Turn off the engine. Remove the key from the key switch.
Reminder for excavator repair points: If the steps to shut down the engine are not correct, the turbocharger may be damaged!
6. Pull the pilot control switch lever to the locked position.
7. Loosen the fixing screws of the end cover and remove the end cover.
8. Loosen the fixing bolts of the outer filter element, and remove the outer filter element 1
9. Gently tap the outer filter element 1 with your hands. Do not knock on hard objects.
Note: reduce the pressure of compressed air (less than 2mpa); call out the surrounding personnel, beware of flying debris; and wear personal protective equipment, including goggles or safety glasses!
10. Clean the outer filter element 1 with compressed air. Blow air from the inside and outside of the outer filter element.
11. Before installing the outer filter element 1, clean the inside of the filter.
12. Install the external filter element 1.
Note: The sealing rubber of the end cap and the filter must be tightly combined!
13. Clean and install the end cover and dust outlet, and tighten the fixing screws.
14 Start the engine and run it at low speed with no load.
15 Check the indicators and alarms, and stop the engine immediately if there is any abnormality. And check the reason, if it is a problem with the filter, the external filter element should be replaced.
16. When replacing the filter element of the air cleaner, the outer filter element 1 and the inner filter element 3 must be replaced together. Before removing the outer filter element, clean the inside of the filter. Remove the inner filter element 3 and replace it. When installing, install the inner filter element 3 first, and then install the outer filter element.
