The hydraulic cylinder of the excavator shall be tested after installation. The test items are as follows.
(1) Exercise balance check
Run 5 ~ 10 times under the minimum pressure of 1 to check whether the piston movement is smooth and flexible without blocking. (2) Load test
Add the maximum working load to the piston rod. At this time, the pressure in the cylinder is the maximum working pressure. Under the action of force, five full-stroke reciprocating motions are run. At this time, the piston rod of the cylinder moves smoothly and flexibly, and each part of the cylinder has no permanent deformation and other abnormal phenomena.
(3) External leakage test of hydraulic cylinder
Under the action of force 2 (= 1.5 force), the reciprocating motion of the piston is about 5 ~ 10min, and the seals and welds must not leak oil.
(4) Internal leakage test of hydraulic cylinder
Add a certain static load F (F = pA, A is the effective working area of the piston) on the piston rod. Within 10 min, the piston movement distance does not exceed the rated value.
(5) Hydraulic cylinder strength test
Apply the test pressure force 3 from both ends of the cylinder [Force 3 = (1.5-1.75) p} Test 2min, each part shall not be damaged or permanently deformed.
(6) Tighten again after the test
After the above tests, the tightening of the cylinder may loosen. Therefore, to be more cautious, tighten the tie rods and tighten the gland bolts again after the test. If it is used directly after the pressure test, the bolts may be damaged one by one due to the uneven load on each bolt, which may eventually cause serious failure.
After completing the above work, a regular inspection system should be established to prevent or reduce accidents.
