European epidemic continues to ease, and many countries are planning to lift the ban

However, due to the large number of patients, the number of new diagnoses, deaths and serious cases still reminds people not to relax.


At present, many European countries are planning to lift some of the epidemic prevention and control restrictions in early May, and strive to achieve a balance between anti-epidemic and economic recovery.


Diagnosis and deaths slow down


In Italy, there were 3,047 newly diagnosed cases, reaching 178,972; deaths, 433 new cases, reaching 23,660. The number of newly diagnosed cases, death cases and severe cases continued to decline. Among them, the newly added death cases were the lowest level in a week. The severe cases continued the downward trend since 4 days, and the epidemic continued to ease.


In France, on the 19th, a total of 112,606 cases were confirmed in hospitals, 63,336 confirmed or suspected cases in social medical institutions, and deaths rose to 19,718. Measures to gradually lift the ban may be introduced one after another
