Robert Czerucki, CEO of RAM Mountains Middle East and Baltic, discussed the innovative technology behind the manufacturer's solutions and how it positioned itself as a "value-added" distributor in the region.
At the beginning of 2022, RAM Mounts, a manufacturer of rigid installation solutions headquartered in Seattle, the United States, expanded its business scope and established its first entity in the Gulf Cooperation Council region in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company has operated in the world for more than 20 years, and now is seeking to bring its patented technology closer to the end users in the region, and establish closer cooperation with local partners.
Robert Czerucki, CEO of RAM MountsMiddle East and RAM Mounts Baltic, sat down to learn more about the innovative technology behind the manufacturer's solutions and how it positioned itself as a "value-added" distributor in the region.
Czerucki said and added: "We are a very young entity in the region, which was established earlier this year; However, our products and brands are very famous here. Since the beginning of this year, our team has been working with partners to promote RAM brackets in the local market, and is also exploring opportunities to participate in all major trade shows in 2023, not only in the United Arab Emirates, but also in a wider range of regions. Although the company has recently expanded in the region, the company's Middle East team has completed many new customer orders, especially in the logistics field, including equipment installation of delivery fleets and forklifts in warehouses. "
Czerucki further emphasized that since the start of business in GCC, the team has met with multiple partners to demonstrate off the shelf solutions to meet customer requirements.
When Czerucki explained RAM Mounts' expanding business scope, he said that the company's products can be purchased from almost every channel in the whole market. "We have barcode scanners, phones, cameras, GPS systems, laptops, tablets, computers and printers and other equipment, as well as other hardware; in buses, aircraft, emergency vehicles, military and agricultural [vehicles], forklifts and many other fields," Czerucki pointed out, and revealed that the company's solution products are growing to meet market demand.
Technology is working
Czerucki described the functions of the mounting base in detail, explained that the RAM mounting base uses a "patent protection system, which can provide fast installation, adjustability and durability, and is cheap", and added that the company provides about 6000 modular components, which can be mixed and matched according to customer requirements.
He further explained: "The mounting base is built on an interchangeable ball and socket system, and is designed around an elastic rubber ball. It also includes anti slip functions, as well as shock and vibration damping in the components. The company only uses" the best assembly hardware, durable composite materials, stainless steel, rubber and aluminum "in the manufacturing process to maintain the highest industrial standards and consolidate its status as a synonym of quality and performance for more than 20 years."
Czerucki emphasizes their unique capabilities and the enhanced flexibility and versatility of mounts. "We are committed to tailoring solutions for our customers, so even with unusual requirements, we still have about 6000 different components to [choose from] to build the final solution for our customers."
He further emphasized that the company has created the award-winning IntelliSkin and GDS technology product ecosystem to protect tablets and smartphones from accidental falls.
Czerucki also pointed out that the company used GDS technology to copy the standard built-in ports in the device to its military standard ports.
"This protects the very sensitive raw port. In addition, the drop tested IntelliSkin case protects a variety of mobile phones and tablets, allowing users to safely charge, dock, and synchronize devices using GDS technology." Czerucki pointed out and added that accessories such as GDS desktop and car base are fully compatible with any device wrapped in IntelliSkin protective case.
In addition, Czerucki pointed out that GDS Technology and Intelliskin also provide variants for connecting devices such as different racks, chargers, printers and barcode scanners.
Customized service
At the end of our interview, Czerucki revealed that the company is closely following the trend of emerging markets to keep up with its evolving needs and requirements. "In the GCC region, although there are many warehouses, there is a lack of mature warehouse management systems. In many cases, this work is done manually. However, we have made progress, and we expect more and more warehouse managers to decide to invest in software and hardware." He said.
Czerucki further emphasized that the company's operating model is centered on meeting the unique needs of customers and increasing operational value.
"RAM Mounts is not just a wholesaler or porter. We always tell our customers not to focus on our catalog, but what they need. This enables us to customize our solutions according to their needs and provide them with accurate products, thus becoming a value-added distributor of potential partners and establishing long-term cooperation." He concluded.
