Forklift is a wheeled vehicle for loading, unloading, stacking and short-distance transportation of pallet goods. Hydrogen forklift has the advantages of zero emission, fast hydrogenation and constant output power. It avoids the short board of internal combustion forklift and electric forklift. It is suitable for long-term operation and can adapt to the working environment of minus 30 ℃ to 50 ℃. More than 32000 hydrogen forklifts have been deployed worldwide, running more than 1 billion miles and 300 million hours. Driven by multiple factors, domestic fuel cell enterprises that "smell" the opportunity of hydrogen forklift accelerated to enter the "horse race enclosure", which also led to many good news from the niche field of hydrogen forklift, such as new products, orders, projects and so on. Since last year, the development has accelerated significantly.
At present, the promotion of collaborative cooperation between fuel cell enterprises and head main engine manufacturers has been strengthened. The first batch of commercial applications of hydrogen forklift have been realized in China, and orders have been released one after another.
From the perspective of market prospect, domestic logistics parks and ports with great efforts in emission reduction have begun to replace traditional diesel forklifts and lead-acid battery forklifts with hydrogen forklifts from north to south. Policies help promote the application of hydrogen forklift
Fuel cell enterprises entered the hydrogen forklift market on a large scale, and the encouragement from the policy level further strengthened the confidence of enterprises in this field.
The administrative committee of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone issued several policies on supporting the development of hydrogen energy industry last year, focusing on the promotion and application of fuel cell forklifts, and proposed to "give a purchase subsidy of 7000 yuan / kW for hydrogen fuel cell forklifts and a rental subsidy of 60% of the rent". This region is also the first region in China to give subsidies to fuel cell forklifts and build demonstration projects.
Daxing District of Beijing also made it clear in the Interim Measures for promoting the development of hydrogen energy industry in Daxing District (revised in 2022) (Exposure Draft) that the fuel cell forklift purchased by enterprises in the demonstration period of fuel cell vehicle demonstration urban agglomeration will be given financial support according to 10% of the vehicle purchase amount, and the maximum annual support fund for each vehicle shall not exceed 50000 yuan; Jiaxing also incorporated the pilot application of hydrogen forklift into its development plan of hydrogen energy industry in Jiaxing (2021-2035).
Relevant data show that at present, the number of forklifts in China is about 3.5 million, and the annual new sales is 600000, with electric forklifts accounting for nearly half. According to the replacement ratio of 10%, 350000 existing forklifts will be replaced, and about 60000 new forklifts will be added every year. According to the 200000 yuan of a single hydrogen forklift, the market scale of hydrogen forklift may reach nearly 10 billion every year.
