May 07, 2022

Recently, major high-altitude machinery enterprises at home and abroad have successively released performance reports for the first quarter of 2022. With the continuous growth of the international aerial work platform industry, there is no doubt that it has driven the growth of the performance of high machinery enterprises in varying degrees. Among the first quarterly results of foreign high-tech machinery brands we collected, the performance of each enterprise is bright.

Oshkosh, the parent company of JLG, said: "the decrease is mainly due to the increase of material and logistics costs and manufacturing costs, which is mainly related to the implementation of manufacturing plans, but partially offset by higher input costs due to the increase of sales volume and the response to the impact of rising prices." The company said that due to the increased demand in North America, the sales of access equipment increased by more than 22% to $439.7 million in the first quarter, and the sales of telescopic boom forklift increased by 31% to $229.7 million. The company is still struggling with a massive backlog of $4 billion, up 161% from the same period last year. The company also updated its full year forecast. The company booked 637 million euros of new orders in the quarter, down from 815 million euros last year; Total orders reached a new record of € 3.3 million, compared with € 1.3 million at the end of March 2021.
