How To Repair The Wheels, Hubs And Tires Of Forklifts?

Method for repairing wheel disc, wheel hub and tire of forklift truck:

1、 Repair of forklift wheel disc:

1) If the bearing hole of the bolt is worn, the roundness error is greater than 1.5mm or the bearing surface of the tire bolt is uneven, it can be repaired by surfacing.

2) Cracks between bolt bearing holes or between large holes can be repaired by welding.

3) If the joint between the spoke and the rim is desoldered or the rivet is loose, it shall be re welded or re riveted.

4) If there is any crack on the rim, it can be repaired by welding.

2、 Repair of forklift hub:

1) When the wear of the inner and outer bearing seat holes of the hub is greater than 0.05mm, it shall be repaired by chromium plating.

2) The oil seal seat hole is unevenly worn or has a dent of more than 0.15mm, which can be repaired by welding.

3) The circumferential surface in contact with the brake hub shall be flat. When the circular runout of the hub centerline is greater than 0.1mm, it shall be repaired by turning.

4) When the brake hub of the hub is cracked, it can be grooved, welded and leveled.

5) When the internal thread of the bolt hole of the fixed axle shaft is damaged, it can be re drilled and tapped after surfacing.

6) When the circular runout of the end face in contact with the semi axonal flange is not greater than 0.1mm, it shall be corrected.

3、 Damage and repair of forklift tire:

Forklift tires include pneumatic tires and solid tires. The tire inflation pressure must be in accordance with the standard specified by the original factory, and shall not be too high or too low. If it is too high, the elasticity of the tire will be reduced and the thread layer is easy to break. Too low air pressure will cause severe deformation of the tire, increase the temperature, cause degumming or fracture, and may also cause the outer tire to move on the rim and wear the bead. In serious cases, the inner tire valve mouth will be torn.

(1) If there are cracks, holes, blisters, delamination and other damages in the outer tube, it shall be repaired or renovated according to the specific conditions. If there are continuous cracks around the outer tire carcass, the tread rubber has been polished and has large holes, and the carcass line layer has annular fracture and whole circle separation, it shall be replaced.

(2) When a small hole is found in the inner tube, hot or cold repair can be carried out.

1) Hot patching: file the rough around the damaged part of the inner tube, stick the fire patching glue on the damaged part, and make the small hole of the hole just in the center of the patching glue, then install the tire patching clamp on the normalized fire patching glue, tighten the screw to compress, and then ignite the heating agent on the fire patching glue. It can be bonded tightly after 10-15min.

2) Raw rubber mending (cold mending): file the area around the inner tube break rough, apply the raw glue, and then apply the secondary glue after the glue surface is slightly dry. When the glue is air dried, stick the prepared raw rubber on the break, pressurize and heat it at 140-145 ℃ for 10-20min to vulcanize the raw rubber. After it is cold, it can be bonded tightly.

3) The inner tube is folded, broken seriously and cannot be repaired; Aging, sticky and deterioration; Deformation and cracks can be scrapped and replaced.
