The trafficability of stacking forklift is the ability to overcome road obstacles and pass through various roads and portals, which mainly depends on the geometric parameters, power, traction capacity and support capacity of forklift.
Geometric parameters of Trafficability
1. The minimum ground clearance and the distance from the lowest point of the forklift to the ground indicate the ability of the forklift to cross the protrusions on the road. For stacking forklifts, the lowest point may be the bottom of the door price, the middle of the front axle, the middle of the rear axle or other locations.
2. The appearance height determines whether the forklift can pass through the doors of buildings such as warehouses.
3. The relative vertical displacement of the steering wheel indicates the ability of the forklift to ensure the normal traction of the wheels on the ground at the same time when passing through uneven roads and obstacles.
Support traction parameters related to Trafficability
1. Maximum wheel pressure of wheel and wheel pressure per unit area. These two parameters affect whether the forklift can pass through some roads or work on some inside (such as floor, plastic floor and wooden floor).
2. Maximum power factor, indicating the maximum road resistance coefficient that the forklift can overcome. When the slope reaches this value, the forklift cannot pass.
Therefore, in the performance index of forklift, the climbing slope should always be marked. On the one hand, it indicates the traction performance of forklift and the passing performance of forklift. Because the stacking forklift generally works indoors and the ground conditions are high, the road parameters can not be considered as the key consideration of passing performance.
