In the 1-12 month of 2017, the added value of machinery industry increased by 10.7% over the same period, which is higher than that of the national industrial and manufacturing industries in the same period. The main business revenue was 24 trillion and 540 billion yuan, an increase of 9.47% over the same period last year, and realized a total profit of 1 trillion and 710 billion yuan, an increase of 10.74% over the same period last year. The total import and export volume totaled US $712 billion 300 million, an increase of 10.01% over the same period last year, achieving a trade surplus of US $99 billion 700 million, reversing the double declining import and export situation.
Since the beginning of this year, the global economic situation has become more and more serious. China's industry has entered an important juncture of upgrading quality, enhancing efficiency and upgrading. The output of the 120 main products monitored decreased by 40 over the same period.
