Electric forklift starters and the car is the same, only of various engine models vary, starter failures are: does not turn turn not power, ignition, turn won't stop, and the motor turns but will not start.

4. electric forklifts will not stop is caused by the electromagnetic switch contact adhesive. (Replace the solenoid switch).
5. electric forklift motor turning but not starting, starter push-pull starting gear is a special electromagnetic mechanism, coil is burned, no general is the start switch push pin to fall off. (If you're lucky you can replace that coil not only for motors).
Forklift Starter damage is generally frequent start, or starts a long, cold weather should first be fully preheated, don't let the water get to the starter.
