China University of Geosciences works together with Sany heavy machines to develop new excavators.

From the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), the school and the Sany heavy machine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sany heavy machine") jointly developed a new type of hydraulic excavator with independent intellectual property right. It is reported that this is the first large linkage shovel hydraulic excavator in China.


"The biggest difference from ordinary excavators is that there is no need for auxiliary hydraulic systems, and the execution system is totally different." The first inventor of the model, Professor Ding Huafeng of the Institute of mechanical and electronic information (the German Humboldt scholar, the winner of the national outstanding youth fund, the Chu Tian scholar), told reporters that his team applied his own original software to the hydraulic excavator in order to develop a new type of hydraulic excavator. The structure is fully synthesized. The structure of the hydraulic excavator which covers all the existing shovel excavators now and abroad has been synthesized, and a new mechanism with excellent performance is obtained. The mechanism is composed of 12 rods, which is compared with the traditional 10 bar shovel hydraulic excavator, adding three pairs of rocker and connecting rod, but the new machine is new. No auxiliary hydraulic cylinder is needed, and flat shovel and vertical lifting operation can be achieved only by the mechanism itself. Compared with the 12 bar "powerful triangle" invented by Germany, the design and manufacture are simpler and more convenient to control, which greatly improves the performance and efficiency of excavating and loading. Under the cooperation of Professor Ding Huafeng's team and 31 secrets, through detailed calculation, multiple simulation and optimization design, a number of technical difficulties have been conquered for more than 3 years. The prototype of a reduced version has been successfully developed in the 31 machine.


It is reported that the development of high-end mechanical equipment with excellent performance and own intellectual property rights is one of the core contents of "made in China 2025", and is also the fundamental guarantee for the realization of "made in China" to "China creation". The development of a new type of hydraulic excavator has broken the long-term monopoly of foreign technology in the heavy equipment to China, improved our country's independent research and development ability in the field of heavy equipment, and laid the foundation for the subsequent research and development of a thousand tons of independent property rights.
