According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Association:
In 2025, the average working hours of major construction machinery products were 926 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 6.15%. Specifically: excavators 815 hours; loaders 1088 hours; truck cranes 1228 hours; crawler cranes 1056 hours; tower cranes 550 hours; road rollers 390 hours; pavers 461 hours; rotary drilling rigs 812 hours; off-highway mining dump trucks 1716 hours; concrete pump trucks 484 hours; concrete mixer trucks 724 hours; and forklifts 1116 hours.
The operating rate of major construction machinery products in 2025 was 55.4%, a year-on-year decrease of 5.77 percentage points. Among them: excavators 56.9%; loaders 57.2%; truck cranes 71%; crawler cranes 57.7%; tower cranes 38.1%; road rollers 42.1%; pavers 50.7%; rotary drilling rigs 43%; off-highway mining dump trucks 43.9%; concrete pump trucks 35.7%; concrete mixer trucks 31.5%; and forklifts 57.5%.
