Ranking of global aerial work platform manufacturers: 8 Chinese companies are on the list, and 4 are in the top ten.

Jun 07, 2021

A few days ago, the ACCESS M20 special issue of the American Assess International magazine announced the 2020 global aerial work vehicle manufacturer rankings. In the top 40 list, 8 Chinese companies are on the list, and 4 companies are in the top ten in the world.

Thanks to the effective and strong control of the new crown epidemic by the Chinese government and the rapid recovery of China's economy, the 2020 ACCESS M20 Chinese aerial work platform manufacturing companies have sprung up and achieved outstanding results. Eight Chinese companies including XCMG, Zhejiang Dingli, Lingong Heavy Machinery, Xingbang Intelligent, KingLift, Yunxiang, and Meitong are on the list, among which Xugong, Dingli, Lingong and Xingbang are in the top 10.

XCMG Gaoji: The global ranking has risen from the 18th in 2019 to the 6th in 2020, the first in China;

Zhejiang Dingli: The global ranking dropped from 6th in 2019 to 7th in 2020, second in China;

Lingong Heavy Machinery: The global ranking has risen from the 17th in 2019 to the 9th in 2020, and the third in China;

Xingbang Intelligent: The global ranking has risen from 19th in 2019 to 10th in 2020, and the fourth in China;

Zoomlion Gao Ji: The global ranking has risen from 22nd in 2019 to 14th in 2020, and the fifth in China;

KingLift: It is the first Chinese company to enter the list this year, ranking 30th and sixth in China;

Yunxiang Heavy Industry: The global ranking has increased from 35th in 2019 to 32nd in 2020, and the seventh in China;

Meitong Heavy Industries: The global ranking dropped from 37th in 2019 to 39th in 2020, and 8th in China.

It is not difficult to see from the list that the industry turmoil caused by the new crown epidemic in 2020 is obvious, and the impact on major aerial work equipment manufacturers in Europe and North America is more obvious. Compared with 2019, the revenue of the top 20 manufacturers in 2020 will also drop from US$9.96 billion to US$7.98 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 20%. Although part of the revenue of the 40 companies in the list is estimated, the overall ranking is a fair reflection of the state of the industry.
