The Lifting Platform Rental Prosperity Index for December 2025 has been released.

Occupancy Rate Index

The occupancy rate index for lift platforms in December 2025 was 633 points, a decrease of 3.8% month-on-month and an increase of 2.9% year-on-year. Overall, the occupancy rate index for most models declined month-on-month in December, with only the 14-16m and 30-35m models showing an increase. The 14-16m model saw the largest month-on-month increase at 9.9%. The 36-39m model experienced the largest month-on-month decrease at 12.1%. Year-on-year, the occupancy rate index for most models increased in December 2025, with the 30-35m model showing the largest increase at 14.9%. Among all models, only the 8-12m and 36-39m models saw a year-on-year decrease in occupancy rate index, with the 36-39m model experiencing the largest decrease at 8.6%. (Occupancy rate is calculated based on the number of rental days; 100% occupancy rate corresponds to 1000 points.)

Rental Price Index

Based on reported data, the rental price index for lifting work platforms in December 2025 decreased slightly by 1.4% month-on-month. Overall, the month-on-month fluctuations in rental price indices for various models were relatively small in December, with the 26-28m model experiencing the largest decrease at 4.4%. Other models saw month-on-month changes of approximately 2%. However, the rental price index for lifting work platforms in December 2025 decreased by 11.3% year-on-year. All models showed a downward trend in rental price indices year-on-year, with the 8-12m model experiencing the smallest year-on-year decrease at 6.6%, while the 36-39m model saw the largest year-on-year decrease at 14.7%.

Since July 2022, the Construction Machinery Leasing Branch has been conducting statistical work on the lifting work platform rental prosperity index. It has continuously optimized the statistical calculation methods and will continue to improve the statistical indicators and methods in the future to more scientifically and accurately reflect the market situation for reference by industry enterprises.
