Dec 17, 2025

According to the latest statistics from the China Construction Machinery Association on major forklift manufacturers, in November 2025, my country's forklift market continued its steady growth, with both monthly and cumulative sales increasing by more than 14% year-on-year. The domestic market was the main driving force behind this growth, showing particularly strong performance.

Key Data at a Glance:

1. Overall Market:

November 2025: 119,749 forklifts sold, a year-on-year increase of 14.1%.

January-November 2025: 1,340,405 forklifts sold cumulatively, a year-on-year increase of 14.2%.

2. Market Segment Performance:

Domestic Market: 75,242 units sold in November, a significant year-on-year increase of 23.9%; 843,005 units sold cumulatively from January to November, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%, showing strong growth momentum.

Export Market: 44,507 units exported in November, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%; 497,400 units exported cumulatively from January to November, a year-on-year increase of 14.0%, maintaining overall stability.

3. Sub-category Products (excluding electric pedestrian warehouse trucks):

November 2025: 46,051 units sold, a year-on-year increase of 7.31%.

January-November 2025: 542,330 units sold cumulatively, a year-on-year increase of 6.42%.

Domestic Sales (January-November): 355,363 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.97%.

Export Sales (January-November): 186,967 units, a year-on-year increase of 11.40%, higher than the overall growth rate for this category.

The data released by the association shows that in the first 11 months of 2025, the Chinese forklift industry achieved stable double-digit growth despite the high base of the same period last year, with cumulative sales exceeding 1.34 million units, demonstrating the industry's strong inherent resilience.

In both the monthly and cumulative data, the growth rate of the domestic market significantly surpassed the overall level, becoming the primary driving force for industry growth. This likely reflects the stable demand for equipment driven by the continuous recovery and upgrading of domestic manufacturing and logistics industries, as well as the stimulating effect of policies such as "trade-in programs" on market vitality.

Notably, after excluding electric pedestrian-operated warehouse trucks, the export growth rate of traditional and large-scale forklift products (including internal combustion and electric ride-on types) (11.40%) was significantly higher than their domestic growth rate (3.97%). This indicates that in overseas markets, the competitiveness of Chinese forklift companies in the mid-to-high-end product segment is being further consolidated and enhanced.

Overall, as 2025 draws to a close, the Chinese forklift industry is exhibiting a pattern of "balancing domestic and international markets and making steady progress." The domestic market is unleashing its potential driven by both policies and demand, while the international market is maintaining its market share through product strength in a complex environment. The industry is expected to conclude the year with steady growth, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development.
