From January to November, China exported over 280,000 excavators! The top five rankings have changed!

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, China's excavator exports continued their strong growth trend from January to November 2025. A total of 281,642 excavators (including crawler and wheeled types) were exported, with a total value of US$9.4 billion, representing year-on-year increases of 35.85% and 26.43%, respectively. November's export performance was particularly impressive, with year-on-year increases in both crawler and wheeled excavator exports exceeding 50%.

Looking at crawler excavators specifically, in November 2025, China exported 27,752 units, totaling US$872 million, a year-on-year increase of 52.36% and 26.67%, respectively. From January to November, cumulative exports reached 274,010 units, a year-on-year increase of 35.19%, with a total value of approximately US$9.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26.34%, covering 210 countries and regions.

In terms of monthly exports, compared to the same period last year, the crawler excavator export market has shown stable growth since 2025, with the growth rate gradually increasing. The November export volume growth rate exceeded 50%, far higher than the cumulative growth rate of 35%, and is expected to continue this "high growth" trend.

Looking at month-on-month changes, among the top ten countries and regions in terms of November export volume, Belgium, Brazil, Italy, Australia, France, and Vietnam saw increases, with exports to Brazil, Italy, and Vietnam increasing by over 100%. Exports to the United States, Indonesia, Russia, and Canada all decreased to varying degrees compared to October, with exports to Russia falling by over 30%.

In terms of quantity, from January to November, China exported over 4,000 crawler excavators to 15 countries and regions, with four countries receiving over 10,000 units. The United States topped the list with 54,322 units, almost three times the number exported to the second-ranked country. Indonesia (18,578 units), Belgium (14,372 units), Germany (14,144 units), and Canada (9,448 units) rounded out the top five. Italy, Russia, Poland, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brazil, Australia, France, and the Netherlands followed closely, each exporting over 5,000 units.

Notably, cumulative exports to Germany fell to fourth place, with only 406 units exported to Germany in November, a decrease of over 70% compared to the previous month.

In terms of export value, from January to November, the top twenty countries and regions for Chinese crawler excavator exports all exceeded $100 million, totaling $5.76 billion, accounting for 64.49% of the total. Indonesia ranked first with $910 million in export value, followed by Russia with $810 million and Belgium with $560 million. The United States, while leading in quantity, ranked relatively lower in value, placing seventh. Countries such as Russia, Guinea, the Philippines, Mali, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia had significantly higher rankings in value than in quantity.

Compared to crawler excavators, the total export volume of Chinese wheeled excavators is smaller. In November 2025, China exported 741 wheeled excavators, a year-on-year increase of 60.04%; the total value was $44 million, a year-on-year increase of 74.09%; from January to November, the cumulative export volume was 7,632 units, with a total value of $360 million, representing year-on-year increases of 64.48% and 28.61%, respectively, covering 153 countries and regions.

Looking at monthly export data, compared to the same period last year, the wheeled excavator export market has also shown stable growth since 2025, but the growth rate narrowed from August onwards. In November, the monthly export volume rebounded significantly, with an increase of over 60%, and the export value turned positive year-on-year, with an increase of over 70%.

In terms of month-on-month changes, among the top ten countries and regions in November's export volume, only exports to the Philippines decreased compared to October, with a decrease of over 30%. Exports to Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Vietnam, and other countries and regions all increased month-on-month, with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and Brazil experiencing increases of over 100%. In terms of quantity, from January to November, China exported over 100 wheeled excavators to 14 countries and regions, with five countries receiving over 500 units. Russia led the way with 933 units, followed by the Philippines with 749 units and Uzbekistan with 708 units. Other significant export destinations included Vietnam (578 units), Kyrgyzstan (527 units), and Pakistan (475 units).

In terms of export value, from January to November, the top twenty countries and regions accounted for a total export value of US$300 million, representing 83.38% of the total. Russia topped the list with US$87 million, followed by Uzbekistan with US$34 million. The Philippines and Kyrgyzstan each had export values ??exceeding US$20 million, while Belgium, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, and Brazil were in the US$10-20 million range.

With the peak season approaching at the end of the year, China's excavator exports are expected to continue their current high growth trend, further deepening its global market presence.
