The plan also points out that the number of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will reach 50000 by 2025, which shows that hydrogen energy has great development potential and application prospects in industries, transportation and other fields.
Since 2018, the national environmental protection department is stepping up the environmental remediation of non road mobile operation vehicles, and industrial vehicles such as construction machinery and forklifts with high pollution and large emission have become the focus of remediation. In the context of the national promotion of green and low-carbon transformation of energy, the market demand for a low-carbon and efficient solution for industrial production and handling is also increasing. Compared with internal combustion forklift and electric forklift, hydrogen fuel cell forklift has the advantages of zero emission, fast hydrogenation, stable operation and wide power range. It is suitable for long-term operation, can adapt to the working environment of minus 30 ℃ to 50 ℃, and has been verified in the commercial market abroad. When low-carbon and green hydrogen energy is widely used in the field of industrial vehicles, it will help to build a "smart and efficient" green transportation system.
It is understood that in 2020, plug power sold more than 32000 hydrogen fuel cell forklifts worldwide, with a global market share of 95%. At the same time, the development and application of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts in the United States, Japan and Germany have exceeded that of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. It can be seen that the technology and safety of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts are becoming more and more mature.
COVID-19 has been popular for more than two years, which has a major impact on the global economic development and has destroyed the global supply chain. However, the industry vehicle industry has been in an inverse trend. In 2021, China's forklift sales were nearly 1 million 100 thousand, and electric forklift accounted for nearly 60%. So the forklift market is very large, and the new energy forklift has gradually become the leading role.
The policy level is also promoting the application of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts. It is understood that at present, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, Daxing District of Beijing, Nanhai District of Foshan, Qingpu District of Shanghai, Jiaxing and other regions have relevant policies to support the demonstration operation of hydrogen fuel cell forklift.
For example, the administrative committee of Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone issued several policies on supporting the development of hydrogen energy industry, which proposed to "give a purchase subsidy of 7000 yuan / kW for hydrogen fuel cell forklifts and a rental subsidy of 60% of the rent".
Daxing District of Beijing also made it clear in the Interim Measures for promoting the development of hydrogen energy industry in Daxing District (revised in 2022) (Draft for comments) that the fuel cell forklift purchased annually by enterprises during the demonstration period of fuel cell vehicle demonstration urban agglomeration will be given financial support according to 10% of the vehicle purchase amount, and the maximum annual support fund for each vehicle shall not exceed 50000 yuan.
Driven by the policy and market, fuel cell related enterprises such as new hydrogen power, hydrogen Pu Chuang Neng, Yixun Chuang Neng, Guohong hydrogen energy, yingfeiteng, hydrogen morning technology, aerospace hydrogen energy, jiehydrogen technology, Tianneng hydrogen energy, Himalaya, qingneng new energy, Weichai Power, yihuatong and other enterprises have accelerated the "horse racing enclosure" and actively laid out the new blue ocean of hydrogen forklift.
Since last year, news about the new products and applications of hydrogen forklift in the field of industrial vehicles has been coming out continuously. Some examples are as follows:
1. On October 8, 2021, 37 hydrogen fuel cell forklifts jointly developed by Hangcha group and new hydrogen power were officially delivered to Yanshan Petrochemical. The model is equipped with the "titan3200x hydrogen fuel cell engine system" developed by Tianjin New Hydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd.
2. On October 28, 2021, Anhui Heli's first 4-5t hydrogen fuel cell forklift appeared in Shanghai, carrying the "jiehydrogen Qiyuan" fuel cell system newly developed by Shanghai jiehydrogen Technology Co., Ltd.
3. On February 24, 2022, the demonstration and application ceremony of the first batch of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts in Qingpu District, Shanghai was held in the comprehensive protection zone. This activity marks the official landing and application of the first batch of hydrogen fuel cell forklifts of Yixun Chuang energy in Shanghai. The activity site showed a series of models fobot-f3011 hydrogen fuel cell counterweight forklift and fueling 35epe30 integrated hydrogen supply device jointly built by Guohong hydrogen energy, Yixun Chuang energy and Germany yonghengli.
4. On February 25, 2022, new hydrogen power launched h2x-tank hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty forklift and h2x-star hydrogen fuel cell 2-ton forward moving forklift in China. The hydrogen engine of h2x-tank hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty forklift is independently developed by new hydrogen power and has been put into mass production. The rated output power is 35 kW and the peak power is 80 kW. The whole vehicle is developed and produced by Hangcha group, with a maximum lifting capacity of 10 tons and a maximum lifting height of 3 meters, covering the lifting / lifting needs of 6-10 tons of heavy forklift trucks. It is suitable for outdoor heavy goods handling business such as enterprises, ports and docks.
The hydrogen engine of h2x-star hydrogen fuel cell 2-ton forward moving forklift is independently developed by new hydrogen power and has been put into mass production with rated output power of 3.5kw and peak power of 25kW. The whole vehicle is developed and produced by Hangcha group. The whole vehicle adopts a brand-new four-bar suspension system, working device with constant roller clearance, low torque multi-channel reversing system and driving wheel anti-skid system. It has excellent ergonomics, comfortable driving and high operation efficiency.
5. On February 28, 2022, Anhui Heli and Yixun Chuang Neng held a signing ceremony for the joint promotion of the purchase and sales strategy for the market application of 200 hydrogen fuel cell forklifts in Hefei, which marks that the cooperation between the two sides has entered a new stage of development and will accelerate the further development of low-carbon and hydrogen energy of China's industrial vehicles.
6. On April 22, 2022, new hydrogen power grandly released three new products: hydrogen + 5g unmanned 3T forklift, hydrogen + 5g unmanned 5T unmanned conveyor and solid metal hydrogen storage fuel cell forklift.
China is now in the primary stage of promoting hydrogen fuel cell forklifts. At present, there are still factors such as high manufacturing cost and low degree of localization of core parts such as fuel cell stacks, low degree of industrial scale, and imperfect infrastructure for hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and hydrogenation, which restrict the development of hydrogen fuel forklifts. However, driven by a number of favorable policies actively planned and launched by the state and local government departments, It will accelerate the further development of hydrogen fuel cell forklift.
