A 50 km long, 24.5 m wide construction section on the Kunman Expressway connects Kunming with the capital of Thailand, the capital of the south of China and Bangkok, and it is very important to improve the border traffic of the three countries and promote the three party logistics.

As the capital of Yunnan, Kunming played a key role in the trade between China and Laos and Thailand. This brand-new Kunman Expressway will serve as a link between South China and Southeast Asian countries, and it is planned to be fully opened by 2020. The Yunnan referendum construction group is responsible for the construction of the 50 km section along the Chinese border to Laos.


Daily spread of 1.1 km

The logistics of the project requires precise planning. Because the asphalt mixing plant is located 40 km away from the construction site. To ensure that the material is not stuck, the company has designed a large 242 cm long hopper for the super 1880-3 L paver, which is specially adapted to the various materials in the Chinese market. Because the hopper is low, the sidewall is wider, and the front is equipped with strong rubber plates, unloading becomes easier. In addition, super 1880-3 L can save 15t, which makes the paving team have enough reserves to deal with all possible situations, such as paving under the deck or spreading the material that can not be easily dump into the hopper.


The transportation system makes the construction of the expressway easier.

Construction equipment for large projects (such as Kunming high speed) usually requires design that ensures high performance construction. Super 1880-3 L meets all requirements, especially its delivery system. Both sides scraper feeder and stirred dragon are strong hydraulic independent drive, ensuring a yield of up to 1000 t/h. The proportional controlled, continuously monitored scraper and agitators, together with the highly adjustable agitators, ensure that the iron plate has an ideal cloth effect in front of the ironing - the same as the straight and the bend. The material head is monitored by the sensor in real time and adjusted accordingly, and the manipulator can also see the material level clearly.

Construction and construction under ECO model


In this construction project in Yunnan, the super 1880-3 L paver has enough power reserves. This paver is equipped with AB 600 TV hydraulic telescopic ironing plate for each hot paving shop with a width of 4.1 m. The stepless widening range of the Fogler hydraulic telescopic iron plate is from 3 m to 6 m. The maximum spreading width can be up to 10 m by equipping the mechanical extension block. If the paving width is small, just like the construction site in Yunnan, then the ECO economic mode is more efficient.  Dongfeng Cummins six cylinder diesel engine, rated power 158 kW, press button (ECO economic mode), its speed from 2000 to 1700 rotating per minute, enough to meet the needs of most working conditions. Even in normal operation, the engine is very fuel efficient. This is achieved through the innovation of the "-3" series paver -- the EcoPlus energy saving and emission reduction package. The package contains a range of measures that can significantly reduce fuel consumption (24%*) and noise levels, such as: hydraulic pumps work as required.
