1, How to use a manual forklift
Positioning forklift: Push the forklift to the side of the cargo, adjust the distance between the forks to fit the pallet, slowly move forward, ensure that the forks are fully inserted into the pallet slot, and prepare for lifting operations.
Operating handle: Hold the lifting handle tightly with both hands, press it steadily and continuously, and the fork will gradually rise. Stop when the goods are 5-10 centimeters off the ground. This height can prevent scratching the ground while maintaining the stability of the goods.
Moving and moving: During the process of pushing the forklift, always pay attention to the road conditions ahead and maintain a steady speed. Reduce speed in advance before turning, and keep the goods facing the top of the slope when going up and down to avoid slipping or forklift overturning due to center of gravity deviation.
Lowering and releasing goods: After arriving at the destination, first stop the forklift steadily, then turn the lowering handle to the end to smoothly lower the fork until the goods touch the ground. After confirming that the goods are securely placed, slowly pull the forklift out of the fork.
Parking completion: After completing the task, lower the forklift to the ground, return the handle to its original position, and park the forklift on a dry and flat surface. If not in use for a long time, regular inspections and maintenance are necessary to ensure that it is always available.
2, Precautions for using manual forklifts
Double check before use: Check the hydraulic oil level before use to ensure it is not lower than 1/2 of the oil window, and add specialized hydraulic oil if it is insufficient; Simultaneously test wheel rotation, chain tightness, and lifting function, and remove tangled foreign objects.
Goods specification: Overloading is strictly prohibited. Before picking up the goods, check the nameplate for the rated load. When picking up the fork, the fork should be fully inserted into the pallet, with a lifting height not exceeding 5 centimeters to prevent the goods from tipping over.
Transportation safety: Pay attention to the road conditions while moving and avoid areas with oil stains and potholes. Slow down when turning, keep the goods facing the top of the slope when going up and down, and strictly prohibit moving the forklift when it is suspended.
Key points for unloading: After the goods touch the ground smoothly, they should be removed from the fork. If the descent is stuck, quickly turn the unloading valve 5 times to exhaust; If it is ineffective, immediately stop reporting for repair and prohibit forced operation.
Prohibition Red Line: It is strictly prohibited to carry or stand people, and it is forbidden to insert limbs under the fork; Eliminate overloading and unbalanced loading; The goods for slope operation should face uphill direction, and use is prohibited if the slope exceeds 2%; Stop the machine immediately for troubleshooting in case of lifting abnormalities.
Return to position maintenance: After use, the fork should be placed on the ground, the handle should be reset, and stored in a dry area. Lubricate the chain monthly and replace the hydraulic oil annually. If it is idle for a long time, it needs to be depressurized and covered to prevent dust.
