1, Precautions for engine use
1. After a new engine or major overhaul, the diesel engine cannot operate at full load and high speed from the beginning. It must be run in at low speed and light load for 50 hours before it can resume normal operation.
2. Ensure the cleanliness of the fuel. If necessary, precipitate or filter with silk cloth.
3. Maintain normal water temperature (70-85 ℃) and oil pressure (0.2-0.4MPa at medium speed).
4. During operation, if any abnormalities are found, stop the vehicle immediately for inspection.
5. Hard water should not be used as cooling water to prevent the formation of scale and reduce the service life of the engine.
2, Daily maintenance
1. Check whether the oil level in the oil pan is between the two markings on the oil dipstick and close to the upper marking. After adding oil to the upper marking line of a new engine or a diesel engine that has been out of service for a long time, run it at low speed for 5-10 minutes, then stop and measure the oil level again with an oil dipstick.
2. Check the water level in the water tank.
3. Check the oil level in the fuel injection pump and replenish it to the specified position if it is insufficient.
4. Eliminate the phenomenon of oil, water, and gas leakage.
5. Check the firmness of components and accessory devices.
6. Check the cleanliness, remove oil and dust, and pay special attention to the drying and cleaning of electrical equipment.
7. After 50 hours of light load operation of the new machine, the oil (including the oil in the fuel injection pump) and the oil filter element should be replaced in a timely manner, and the oil pan and oil collection filter should be cleaned.
8. Timely protection of daily lubricant additives.
