A few days ago, the Fifth National Aerial Work Platform Leasing Conference was held in Suzhou. Ms. Zhang Yanna, Construction Machinery Technology Service Center of China Equipment Management Association, said in a speech at the meeting that in order to promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the aerial work platform leasing industry, the center focused on the field of aerial work platforms to carry out national research work and visited the domestic ( Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions are not in the scope of this survey) 648 lessors in 30 regions, and based on this data, released the "Investigation Report on Leasers of Aerial Work Platforms in 2020".
Through investigations, it is found that the leasing industry of aerial work platforms has developed rapidly in recent years. One is the rapid increase in the number of enterprises; the other is the substantial expansion of the scale of enterprises. Ms. Zhang Yanna, Construction Machinery Technical Service Center of China Equipment Management Association, said that in 2020, due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, although the development of the industry has not expanded rapidly, it will also show a steady growth trend.
The "Report" shows that in 2020, the three regions with the highest growth rate of domestic equipment holdings are: Shanghai 69%, Jiangsu Province 42%, and Zhejiang Province 34%. However, the growth rate of output value has not been pulled up, which shows that market competition has begun to become fierce, and the rental unit price is declining.
In 2020, there are 12 enterprises with an output value of more than 100 million yuan, which has more than doubled compared with 2018. There are 14 companies with more than one thousand devices. The equipment inventory of aerial work platforms in the domestic market has increased from more than 10,000 units in 2011 to more than 200,000 units in 2020, an increase of nearly 20 times in just 9 years.
At the meeting, Jiao Yuxi, founder of the Lessor Insurance Service Alliance, also said: The number of domestic leasing companies increased from 680 in 2016 to more than 1,700 in 2020; the number of equipment entering the market was 43,000 units in 2016, and it has grown to nearly 250,000 units; the number of industry employees has increased from more than 6,000 in 2016 to more than 26,000 in 2020; the number of industry operators is about 172,000 in 2016 and about 1 million in 2020. The market growth rate is amazing.
