Recently, based on an assessment of its global manufacturing layout, JLG announced plans to close its manufacturing facility in Romania next year to optimize and adjust the group’s overall strategy to better support global customers and achieve sustainable growth of the group.
Karel Huijser, General Manager of JLG Europe, said: "This move follows our recent major investments in the new Power Towers plant, as well as the JLG Customer Innovation Center in the United Kingdom and the JLG Service Center in Sweden. In the future, we will remain committed to To provide services to customers in Romania, production will be redistributed in other JLG factories worldwide."JLG plans to stop all operations in Romania by June 30, 2021.
