After talking about Europe and America, look at Asia again. After World War II, Japan imported the automobile crane technology from the United States. In 70s, it made a great improvement on the basis of the exchange of technology with Europe and the United States. After that, it took up some market in the market of small tonnage crane. The manufacturers of truck cranes in Japan mainly include TADANO and Kato (KATO).
Tadahino Masuo, founder of TADANO, was founded in 1919 in kawagawa Prefecture, southern Japan. In 1948, DAL Iron Works Co., Ltd. was formally established. In 1955, Japan's first hydraulic truck crane was produced. In 1969, 100 15 ton hydraulic truck cranes were exported to China for the first time. In 1990, FAUN bought the company. FAUN is an old German automobile company. Founded in 1919 in Nuremberg, Germany, it mainly produces truck cranes and traction chassis. In 1998, AR-5500M launched the largest 550 ton full road crane in Asia. The 7 axle chassis is the largest type of all terrain crane that Japan has ever produced.
Kato (KATO) was founded in 1895. It was originally built by Kato, a private steelmaking plant in Tokyo, Japan. In 1923, Kato began to build diesel locomotives for locomotives, and began producing engines, tractors, compactors and cranes in 1938. In 1939, Kato's cranes were installed on the Japanese aircraft carrier and participated in the Pacific War. After the defeat of Japan, Kato started producing hydraulic truck cranes and ground rigs in 1959, and began to produce hydraulic excavators in 1967. In 1969, Asia's largest truck crane NK-750 Jumbo was offline. The machine uses a 4 - axis chassis with a maximum weight of 75 tons. In 1980, Kato began to produce off-road cranes and began to produce all terrain cranes in 1987. In 1995, in order to celebrate the establishment of 100th anniversary, Kato company made the largest Asian telescopic boom truck crane NK-5000. The machine adopts 6 axle chassis, and it is the 500 ton crane with the least number of axes in the world. The other products of the other companies are mostly 7-9 axes. The length of the car is only 13.58 meters, and it also becomes the shortest 500 ton crane. Kato has been competing for a long time in cooperation with many other fields. Since its entry into the world market in the 60s of last century, it has made great progress. But limited by Japan's narrow territory, road restrictions and Japan's bubble economy, it has not gained much in the market of large tonnage truck cranes.
China's truck cranes started in the early 50s, mainly importing or surveying imported Soviet products. On this basis, the Beijing machinery plant (predecessor of the Beijing Crane Machinery Factory) first produced 3 tons of mechanical truck cranes on the liberation board chassis in 1957. Before the middle and late 70s, the crane manufacturers in China mainly produced truck cranes under 5-8 tons, and hydraulic cranes were also available. Crawler cranes are also improved on the basis of Soviet excavators, but they have not been formed.
After the reform and opening up in 1978, our wheeled cranes went through a stage of self development (16-20 tons hydraulic box telescopic boom). At the same time, the manufacturers have produced the 20t, 25t, 35t, 40t, 45t, 50t, 80t, 125t automobile cranes and 25t cross-country tires, as well as the 20t, 50t, 70t, and all ground truck cranes, respectively. Through the digestion, absorption and transplantation of the imported technology, the performance and manufacturing level of the wheel crane in our country are all on a step, and the output of the products has also been improved year by year. However, due to the restriction of all aspects, by the late 90s, there was still a gap between China's truck crane technology and foreign countries. As a result of national macro-control, the construction market has shrunk. Sales of truck cranes nationwide dropped from 5154 in 1993 to 2274 in 1997.
After entering the twenty-first Century, with the rapid expansion of China's economic scale, large-scale urban construction stimulated the demand for construction machinery. The sales of truck cranes increased exponentially in 1999 and exceeded 10 thousand in 2003. China has become the world's largest crane producer after the United States produced 70 units in the last 7500 years of the last century and the output records of 8000 units in 1980. Large market demand, attracting a large number of funds to the crane industry, Xugong Group, ZOOMLION, Liugong, Sany and other enterprises rise, with an amazing speed of two digit annual expansion. Various enterprises have broken through the bottleneck of development of small and medium tonnage cranes and large tonnage cranes, forming a relatively complete product pedigree.
Before 2000, the world's main crane manufacturers were not optimistic about the Chinese market. They have been peeping into the Chinese market for 20 years, but have not acted. It was not until 2003 that Japan launched a joint venture with the Beijing hoisting machinery factory, and the proportion was 25:75, with a 75% stake in the north. For a time, the joint venture suddenly became a hot cake, and foreign manufacturers came in. After nearly two years of selection and inspection, the United States bought 50% of the Changjiang crane plant. The proportion of joint venture between North and many fields also increased to 50:50. Although Carlyle's 85% stake in Xugong has not been approved by the State Council, it has also been booming. Mani Tova J did not stand by and set up Mani Tova J Dongyue Crane Co., Ltd. in Tai'an, Shandong. This wave of joint venture illustrates the importance of the Chinese market, but foreign brands have lost the edge of the market. In the first half of 2010, China's crane enterprises (13), accumulatively sold 20037 truck cranes, an increase of 48.7% over the same period last year. The top four sales companies were selected by Xugong, ZOOMLION, Liugong crane and Sany. With the continuous progress of China's urbanization process, these enterprises still have room for growth.
In 1995, Kato (KATO) made the 100th anniversary largest truck crane NK-5000 with box telescopic boom for the celebration of its establishment. The machine adopts 6 axle chassis, and it is the 500 ton crane with the least number of axes in the world. The other products of the other companies are mostly 7-9 axes. The length of the car is only 13.58 meters, and it also becomes the shortest 500 ton crane.
