In July 28, 1989, the Xuzhou heavy machinery factory, Xuzhou engineering machinery manufacturing plant, Xuzhou loader factory and Xuzhou Engineering Machinery Research Institute were the core of the "three factories", which formally established the Xuzhou Construction Machellonery Group Inc (abbreviated Xugong Group). In the next 10 years, Xugong Group expanded to 3 billion 700 million yuan in 1998 from 380 million yuan when it was established and merged. In 1999, its operating revenue exceeded 5 billion yuan at one stroke, becoming the leading enterprise in China's construction machinery industry.
However, as a core company of Xugong Group, heavy machinery companies are in trouble at this time. For 1994-1999 consecutive years, six consecutive years of losses, bank loans as high as 470 million yuan, enterprises fell to the brink of bankruptcy. The main reason for the loss is that the "hard landing" of the economy has led to the weakness of the market in addition to the macroeconomic regulation and control of 1993-1999 years. In order to reverse the predicament, the group has made major adjustments to Xu's leadership and product mix, and will turn losses into profits by 2001. At the same time, the company has set up a development strategy of "high-end, high technology and high added value", focusing on the market of large tonnage cranes.
Before 2000, more than 100 tons of truck cranes in China depended on imports, and the market was monopolized by engineering machinery giants such as Europe, America and Japan. Especially for all terrain crane, because of its high technology content and high price, it is monopolized by German enterprises. In March 2001, Xugong launched the QAY25 type 25 ton all terrain crane project. In early 2002, China's first all terrain crane, QAY25 all terrain crane, was successfully manufactured in Xugong. To this end, 60 key technologies, such as suspension technology, control technology, frame structure and so on, have won the first prize in the scientific and technological progress of the China Ministry of machinery industry in 2004.
In 2004, Xu heavy introduced 50 tons, 130 tons, 160 tons and 200 ton class all terrain cranes, laying the foundation for enterprises to achieve leaping development. In 2005, Xu heavy invested 12 million, established a customer management system, set up seven spare parts centers in the whole country, and improved the after-sale service system. In 2006, Xu heavy introduced 240 tons and 300 tons of all terrain cranes. In 2007, the sales of Xu heavy crane exceeded 10 billion yuan, and in the fierce market fight, it occupied 30% of the global market, and became the largest manufacturer of automobile crane in the world. In 2008, Xu heavy launched a 500 ton full road crane, and invested 500 million yuan to build a two manufacturing base, which covers an area of 270 thousand square meters. It mainly produces large tonnage all road cranes. In 2009, Xu heavy car sales nearly 16 thousand vehicles, sales of 20 billion 700 million yuan, accounting for 57.4% of the Chinese market share. In 2010, Xu weight increased, and the newly developed 800 tons and 1200 tons all terrain crane was downloaded and then bought by customers. It is expected that the annual sales volume of Xu heavy will exceed 25 billion yuan.
At present, the crane has already covered nearly 40 types of spectrum series, such as car cranes, all road cranes, crawler cranes and so on, and began to extend to the fields such as high fire trucks and concrete pumps. In retrospect for the past 10 years, Xu has experienced a transition from the edge of bankruptcy to the top of the industry. This is the legend of Xugong and a miniature of China's engineering machinery industry. During the 10 years, a large number of old enterprises collapsed and a group of new forces began to rise. Xugong, ZOOMLION, 31, Liugong and other enterprises in the competition and cooperation, promote China Construction Machinery stride to the world market.
It is expected that by 2015, the scale of China's construction machinery market will jump from 310 billion yuan in 2009 to 900 billion yuan, becoming the largest producer and consumer of engineering machinery in the world. Xugong, ZOOMLION and Sany will have the opportunity to become a construction machinery giant with annual sales of over 100 billion yuan. Liugong, Xiamen, dragon and other 11 large enterprises, by 2015, sales are expected to reach 600 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the industry scale.
This is a pulley block crane drawn on the description of ancient Rome Engineer Vitruvius, using two fixed pulleys and a movable pulley. Ancient books claim that the crane was invented by Archimedes in third Century B.C.
The K-10001 truss arm crane, developed by Rosenkranz (Rosenkranz) and several manufacturers in 1971, is the first wheeled crane with a weight of more than one thousand tons in the world. It was later sold to the Baldwins engineering company in England.
In Germany, there is also a unique company -- Rosenkranz (Rosenkranz). This is a large crane rental company in Germany. Its uniqueness lies in its "hoist" cranes. In 1969, in order to participate in the bidding of the main stadium of the Munich Olympic Games, Rosenkranz plans to purchase a kiloton crane. But at that time, Demag (DEMAG) had not yet produced the capacity of kiloton cranes, and AK850 of Gothard had only completed the initial design. Rosenkranz's finances were also very tight, so he once again chose to build his own cranes. Before that, Rosenkranz designed and manufactured a K-2001 type 200 ton truss arm crane in 1967 and a K-5001 type 500 ton truss arm crane in 1968, which was upgraded to K-6001 in 1973.
In order to build K-10001, Rosenkranz Jean Demag (DEMAG) provided a gyrotron for it, and KRUPP helped to make the main arm and mast, and FAUN (FAUN) provided a special L1412/51 tractor for it. In 1971, K-10001 was manufactured in a controversy. This is the world's first trussed boom truck crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 1000 tons. K10001 after a number of hands, now belongs to Holland Sindorf, in 2002 Sindorf to the car carried out a complete refurbishment and renovation, and the same control system with Liebherr LTM1800, so that the K-10001 resuscates the youth. In 1973, Rosenkranz built 3 500 ton cranes, named K-5001, K-5002 and K-5003 respectively. However, the chassis is replaced by a semi trailer structure designed for 68 years to replace the front 5 rear 3 wheel drive chassis produced by FAUN.
