Supported by the CIS National Business Committee of the CIS, the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, the China Construction Material Federation, the China Architectural Material Circulation Association and the provinces and cities along the Silk Road, the Xinjiang silk road infrastructure development conference organized by the Xinjiang Zhenwei International Exhibition Co., Ltd. The conference will be held on 18-20 July 2018 at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
At that time, the Asian investment bank will send a representative to the conference and give a speech on the theme of "hand in hand to the Asian investment bank" as the theme of the Asian investment bank and to introduce the related model of the Asian investment bank and the infrastructure business in Central Asia. The Asian investment bank will communicate with the media in Central Asia and the local mainstream media in Xinjiang on the investment and financing of infrastructure projects in Central Asia, and will also discuss related issues with relevant Xinjiang units, representatives of the countries along the Silk Road, industry organizations, and enterprise representatives.
The Asian infrastructure investment bank (AIIB, hereinafter referred to as the subinvestment bank), opened in January 2016, is a multilateral financial institution aimed at promoting infrastructure development and interoperability in Asia and currently has 87 members from all continents in the world. After two and a half years of operation, Asia Investment Bank has invested 28 infrastructure projects in 13 countries with a total investment of US $more than 5 billion 300 million. The Asian investment bank actively supports the "along the way" initiative proposed by the Chinese government. All the investment projects are currently in the countries and regions along the road.
Interoperability is crucial to the growth of trade and economic growth in Asia and other regions. As the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt and an important node to the west, Xinjiang plays a key role in promoting interoperability in the field of Silk Road Finance. It is hoped that through the "Xinjiang silk road infrastructure development conference", we can cooperate with the representatives of the financial institutions, enterprises, government departments and the media to jointly promote infrastructure investment in Xinjiang and Central Asia.
The Asian investment bank visited Xinjiang this time. It aims to understand the infrastructure of Central Asia and the demand for interconnected funds, promote the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt in Xinjiang and the interconnection of national infrastructure along the Silk Road, "go out" of Xinjiang regional funds and "bring in" in Central Asia, and promote the circulation of resources and capacity. The construction of the platform is of great significance.
