Recently, Komatsu released the latest information on its global manufacturing plants, extending the temporary shutdown period of some factories.
The company reiterated that they are conducting business in accordance with the guidelines set by the government where the factory is located.

Komatsu said in a statement: “According to the host government policy of the country where the Komatsu Group operates, we will do our best to prevent the spread of the new crown epidemic. We highly value the health and safety of our customers, local community residents and employees.”
Komatsu ’s factories in Europe have been discontinued, and some factories will now be shut down longer than originally planned: the company ’s Italian plant has been shut down from April 3 to April 13 as originally planned. Komatsu said: "We are working to minimize the impact on production through alternative procurement and inventory reallocation."
