Construction Machinery Information Provider International Construction Magazine, a subsidiary of the British KHL Group, released the 2020 Top 50 Global Construction Machinery Manufacturers List (2020 Yellow Table Equipment top 50). For the financial year ended March 31, 2019, equipment sales of the top 50 enterprises reached 202.7 billion US dollars, a record high, an increase of 10% over the previous year. Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Deere maintained the top three positions.
American companies accounted for 24.6% of the total sales of the top 50 companies, Japan 23.1%, China rose to 17.7%, Sweden 9.6%, Germany 6.0%, South Korea 4.5%, Finland 2.5%, United Kingdom 2.7%, France 2.3%, Italy 1.6% , Austria 1.0%. The top ten companies in the list occupy nearly 64% of the global market share.
Chinese companies continue to perform well, with a total of 9 companies on the list. Among them, XCMG and Sany Heavy Industry rose to the fourth and fifth place, and Zoomlion also entered the top ten.
