The Ministry of industry and information technology held a series of press conferences on "industry and information technology development in the new era" on September 6. Wang Zhen, deputy director of the first Department of equipment industry of the Ministry of industry and information technology, said at the meeting that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China's construction machinery industry, under the influence of the market mechanism, has adhered to the dominant position of enterprises, accelerated the improvement of quality and efficiency, transformation and upgrading, and constantly improved the level of manufacturing technology, process and equipment, effectively supporting the construction needs of the national economy.
First, the product system is constantly enriched. China has formed 22 categories of construction machinery products, becoming one of the countries with the most complete product categories and varieties. The domestic market satisfaction rate of construction machinery has increased from less than 90% in 2012 to more than 96% at present. The output of excavators, cranes, loaders and other major products ranks first in the world.
Second, the technical level has been greatly improved. A number of major equipment such as 16m super diameter shield machine, 700T excavator and 4000t crawler crane have been successfully developed and applied. The large-scale full hydraulic rotary drilling rig of 2M and above has achieved mass production. The domestic market share of roadheader exceeds 90%.
Third, the competitiveness of enterprises continued to increase. Ten enterprises have entered the top 50 global construction machinery manufacturers, including XCMG, Sany Heavy Industry and Zoomlion. In Jiangsu, Hunan, Shandong, Guangxi and other places, a number of construction machinery industry clusters with obvious scale effect and strong industrial chain drive have been formed.
Fourth, international development accelerated. The development of the enterprise has changed from the internationalization of R & D and production to the internationalization of brand and management system. The products are exported to more than 210 countries and regions in the world, and the export and overseas business income account for more than 30%. In 2021, the total import and export volume of construction machinery products was 37.75 billion US dollars, and the trade surplus was 30.3 billion US dollars.
Construction machinery is a highly market-oriented industry, which is also suitable for development in a market-oriented manner. Next, the Ministry of industry and information technology will adhere to the principle of "better combination of an effective market and a promising government", give full play to the role of local governments and industry organizations, strive to improve the industrial innovation system, make up for weaknesses and forge strengths, and promote the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry.
First, strengthen basic capacity building. Encourage qualified places to strengthen the construction of provincial engineering machinery and equipment manufacturing innovation centers, support enterprises to establish joint technology R & D centers through cross sector cooperation, promote the construction of an innovation system with reasonable echelon layout and covering the whole industrial chain, strive to break through bottlenecks, and strengthen the research and development of key core and basic cutting-edge technologies.
Second, promote the modernization of the industrial chain. Relying on the construction of advanced manufacturing industry clusters and national new industrialization industry demonstration bases, we will guide local governments to build advanced manufacturing industry clusters of construction machinery with distinctive leading product characteristics, high concentration of innovative factors, and perfect industrial ecological system, and link up the industrial chain, supply chain and innovation chain.
Third, vigorously develop a new generation of construction machinery. We will guide industrial enterprises to actively grasp the integration opportunities brought by 5g, artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of things and other new generation information technologies, grasp the development opportunities brought by China's new infrastructure construction, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, explore new technologies, new business forms and new models, and accelerate the development of construction machinery in the direction of intelligence, digitalization, green and networking.
