Recently, Sichuan and Chongqing provinces and cities have formulated and issued the coordinated action plan for promoting the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of energy in Sichuan and Chongqing (hereinafter referred to as the action plan), focusing on building a high-quality clean energy base, promoting the integrated construction of Sichuan and Chongqing power grids, improving energy security and reserve capacity, promoting clean transformation of energy consumption, improving modern energy governance capacity, improving energy supply security guarantee capacity In seven aspects of improving the competitiveness of the energy industry, 22 specific collaborative tasks are proposed, and efforts are made to basically build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient Sichuan Chongqing integrated energy security system by 2025.
In terms of clean energy bases, it is proposed to steadily promote the development of "Three Rivers" hydropower bases in Sichuan, build a number of wind power and photovoltaic bases, and jointly build a natural gas production base of 100 billion cubic meters in Sichuan and Chongqing. In terms of the integration of Sichuan Chongqing power grid, it is proposed to speed up the construction of Sichuan Chongqing UHV AC project, promote the integration of Sichuan Chongqing power market, and jointly accelerate the demonstration of Tibetan power and Qinghai power into Sichuan Chongqing.
In terms of energy reserves, it is proposed to plan to build a number of pumped storage power stations and new-type energy storage power stations of a certain scale, build a 10 billion cubic meter gas storage and peak shaving base in Southwest China, improve the reserve capacity of refined oil, and improve the construction of the coal reserve system.
In addition, the action plan also puts forward some specific measures in terms of clean transformation of energy consumption, modern governance of energy, energy supply guarantee, and development of energy industry chain.
