From 2012 to 2021, the added value of the equipment industry has increased by 8.2% annually, always maintaining a medium high speed. In particular, since the beginning of this year, the equipment industry has overcome the impact of the epidemic and taken the lead in recovering, driving the manufacturing industry to recover quickly.
Wang Weiming made the above remarks at the press conference on the theme of "vigorously developing high-end equipment manufacturing" held by the Ministry of industry and information technology on the 6th.
The equipment industry is a solid support for big country manufacturing. Over the past decade, the scale of China's equipment industry has continued to expand and the industrial structure has continued to optimize. The data released at the meeting showed that by the end of 2021, there were 105100 Enterprises above designated scale in the equipment industry, an increase of nearly 45.30% over 2012; Total assets, operating income and total profit reached 28.83, 26.47 and 1.57 trillion yuan respectively, an increase of 92.97%, 47.76% and 28.84% over 2012. In 2021, industries related to strategic emerging industries in the equipment industry achieved an operating income of 20 trillion yuan, an increase of 18.58% year-on-year.
"Over the past ten years, we have taken 'high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment' as the starting point and continued to make up for the shortcomings of the industrial chain and supply chain. The industrial mother machine industry has formed a complete industrial system, and its independent development ability and reliability have been significantly improved." Wang Weiming said that at present, a number of key core technologies, such as fully digital high-speed and high-precision motion control and multi axis linkage, have been broken through. Domestic high-end CNC systems have been realized from scratch, and the market share of domestic machine tools has increased to 31.9%.
In the field of construction machinery, China has formed 22 categories of construction machinery products. The domestic market satisfaction rate of construction machinery has increased from less than 90% in 2012 to more than 96% at present. The output of excavators, cranes, loaders and other major products ranks first in the world.
Wang Weiming said that China's equipment manufacturing industry is in a critical period of moving towards the middle and high-end, and its supporting role to the economy and society is more prominent. However, there are still problems such as weak industrial foundation and the industrial development environment that need to be improved. The stability of the industrial chain and supply chain needs to be further improved. Next, the Ministry of industry and information technology will promote breakthroughs in core and key technologies, strengthen the industrial foundation, cultivate high-quality enterprises and industrial clusters, and formulate and release special policy documents to accelerate the digital development of the equipment industry.
