Heyang, director of the power department of the national energy administration, said that at present, the national power coal inventory is sufficient, reaching the best level in the same period in history, and the foundation for ensuring power supply is further consolidated.
Since July this year, affected by economic growth and high temperature, China's power consumption and power load have also increased rapidly. With the peak of power load coming from late July to early August, it is expected that the national power load will continue to rise.
In view of the above situation, the national energy administration started in advance and formulated a number of measures to do a good job in ensuring the peak summer.
First, continue to strengthen the monitoring and analysis of power supply and demand. We should coordinate and coordinate with the meteorological department, conduct docking and consultation with local energy authorities, power grids, power generation and industry associations, study and judge the power supply and demand situation across the country, timely and comprehensively grasp the power supply and demand situation in all provinces, respond to problems in a timely manner, and guide all regions and enterprises to make detailed response plans for power supply guarantee, so as to know well.
Second, promote the construction and operation of major power projects. In the first half of this year, a total of 70million kW of new power sources were put into operation nationwide. Since the peak summer last year, 180million kW of new power sources have been put into operation nationwide, and 70million kW of new power sources have been put into operation in the first half of this year. From July last year to the end of June this year, before the peak of summer, the total production of all kinds of power sources was 180million kW.
Third, improve the guarantee of power generation fuel and the level of operation output. At present, our country's power coal inventory is sufficient, and the level of power coal inventory has reached the best level in the same period in history. The output of our coal-fired power is blocked and the generation capacity of unplanned outages has also fallen to the lowest in history, which has further consolidated the foundation of power supply.
Fourth, guide all regions to do a good job in power demand side response. Through the power demand side response, the market-oriented method is used to guide power users to actively stagger and avoid peak load, and at the same time, a certain amount of economic compensation can be obtained. This method can effectively reduce the peak load, which will also promote the economic benefits of the whole society to achieve the best.
