Doosan Infracore Integrates “DoosanConnect” Telematics for Real-Time Fleet Management

Jul 08, 2026

Doosan Infracore has launched "DoosanConnect," a next-generation telematics solution designed to monitor not just Doosan machines, but mixed fleets comprising various brands. In the construction industry, managing a fleet of excavators, wheel loaders, and dump trucks from different manufacturers often requires logging into multiple proprietary software portals. DoosanConnect solves this by utilizing a universal hardware unit that can be hardwired into any machine's CAN bus system, regardless of brand.

The system features a "Health Check" dashboard that monitors critical parameters such as engine RPM, hydraulic oil temperature, and battery voltage in real-time. A key engineering feature is the "Remote Diagnostic Link." If a machine triggers a fault code, the system automatically notifies the fleet manager and generates a "snapshot" of the machine's operating data 30 seconds before and after the fault occurred. This data can be emailed directly to a service technician, allowing them to arrive on-site with the correct parts and knowledge, eliminating the need for preliminary troubleshooting.

Additionally, the platform includes a "Productivity Mapping" tool. For excavators, the system monitors the average engine load factor over time. If a machine is consistently running at low load (under 30%), the software alerts the manager that the machine may be oversized for the application, suggesting a smaller, more fuel-efficient unit could be deployed to save costs.
