New Holland Positions B110C Loader Backhoe as Mid-Range Workhorse with All-Wheel Drive and 5.85-Meter Dig Reach

Oct 03, 2026

New Holland Construction continues to position the B110C as the anchor model of its B Series loader backhoe lineup - a roughly 11-ton-class machine aimed at utility trenching, rural roadwork, agricultural drainage, and municipal maintenance. The B110C features an all-wheel-drive system as a core configuration option, paired with standard 12-16.5 front and 19.5L-24 rear tires, delivering the traction flexibility needed when a machine transitions from paved road travel to soft trench spoil without stopping to engage mechanical front-wheel drive. Standard operating weight is approximately 16,008 pounds, and the backhoe achieves a dig depth reach of 5.853 meters, placing it squarely in the mid-range segment where utility contractors do the bulk of their work.

The machine benefits from the B Series architecture introduced across New Holland's loader backhoe line - pilot-operated backhoe controls that deliver smoother, more proportional boom and bucket movements than mechanical linkages, along with engine and hydraulic calibrations that deliver fuel-efficiency improvements of up to 10 percent over earlier generations. The dual-function design merges loader and backhoe capabilities in one platform, with a wide cab that allows the operator's seat to rotate between front-loader and backhoe orientations - a layout that minimizes dismount time on short-cycle trenching work where the machine alternates between digging and backfilling dozens of times per day. For fleets already standardized on New Holland's D Series loader backhoes with Tier 4 Final compliance, the B110C represents the continuation of that emissions-compliant, comfort-focused direction without compromising digging force.
